About Lisa

Lisa Lacy is a writer, trauma educator, and Executive Intuitive Advisor with nearly three decades of experience inside healthcare, behavioral health, executive leadership, addiction recovery, and human performance.

While managing a six-figure career and signing multimillion-dollar contracts, Lisa was simultaneously surviving institutionalization, addiction, psychosis, complex trauma, and multiple near-death medical events. That lived experience became the foundation for her work exploring the psychology beneath high-functioning survival and performance-based identity.

Today, she works privately with executives, founders, physicians, mothers, caretakers, creatives, and public-facing professionals seeking clarity, regulation, truth, and sustainable leadership beyond overperformance and self-erasure.

Her work integrates psychology, lived experience, leadership insight, trauma education, and advanced pattern recognition to help clients better understand the hidden adaptations shaping their relationships, decisions, identity, and emotional exhaustion.

Lisa is the author of the memoir Notes From a Certified Madwoman and its field guide companion The Psychology of Performing™.
